Please arrive for the slumber party at 6pm on Saturday, April 16th. The sleep over will be at Denise's house. Please call for directions if needed.
We will need the girls to have sleeping bags or blankets and pillows. And the essentials a girl needs when staying out over night.
Our plan is to work in a lot of fun activities and earn badges. We will also be finishing up our Art to Wear badge by making a tshirt for our Space Camp trip!

Art to Wear: We will be designing and creating tshirts for our trip to Space Camp!
We will be exploring our artistic abilites.
Our troop will also be working on some of the activites required to earn this badge as a group during our SlUmBeR pArTy!!

Space Camp
Space Center Houston's Scout Camp Ins- gives your scouts an out of this world opportunity to explore space science. Scouts will conduct hands-on activities to help them earn their space and science related badges. All Camp-Ins include:
Brownie Scouts will explore space by conducting activities for the Brownie Space Try Its Badge.
Brownies will learn about and design a model space suit, discover the constellations in a new inflatable planetarium, build and launch a basic rocket, and take a walk through the solar system with the voyage solar system model.
Our camp in date is scheduled for Saturday, May 7 and returning on Sunday, May 8th.
We will be doing some other fund raisers to help with transporation and other expenses.

- Come and walk across Texas with us! WAT is a program created by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service in 1996 to help establish healthy habits. GS-TOP is the FIRST Texas Council to partner with Texas AgriLife! From border to border, your troop, your Service Unit or your region can walk a virtual 830 miles across the state, seeing your progress across the state on-line. Girl Scouts will have a virtual Girl Scout "walking" that will represent all the miles GS-TOP girls have walked. Get it on!

3/27 Pink Pampering Day
- Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Tarrant County Affiliate, and the Ridgmar Mall is partnering with Girl Scouts to celebrate our signature program, Pink Connection-think Pink Bracelet project, and the girls who make it happen.
- Enjoy a day of pampering such as mini makeovers, manicures, and massages. There will also be a Pink Parade so be sure to wear pink ribbons, pink hats, pink socks- Go Crazy In Pink!
- Prizes for best costume.

girls will be learning the importance
of manners and etiquette. By practicing :

Hosting a party
Sports and games are a great way to give your body excercise, to make friends and to learn how to work with other girls and have fun. We will start working on the Sports and Games badge on
March 26th, by attending a 30 minute session at the Ice at the Parks, an ice rink in the Arlington Parks Mall. This badge also includes such activities as:
Bicycling
Swimming and
other extracurricular sports.
